Eddie Hearn feels Keeler-Doran rematch is a possibility

Eddie Hearn is not ruling out a third fight between Luke Keeler and Tom Doran.

The two traded leather in a furious two-round Fight of the Year contender last night live on Sky Sports at the Echo Arena.

Doran grabbed a second win against the Dubliner, knocking Keeler out in the second round after being initially on the canvas himself in the opening stanza.

The fight drew widespread acclaim from onlookers with both boxers emerging with huge credit for putting it all on the line.

Speaking to IFL TV afterwards, Matchroom head honcho Eddie Hearn stated that “don’t rule that out either [a rematch].”

“I want to give a lot of credit to Tom and to Luke for taking the fight.”

Hearn also commended the Irishman , whom he is a big fan off, and described how “Luke Keeler is a lovely man, and he is actually a really good fighter.”

Giving his views on the instant classic, Hearn mused: “How did Doran get up from that right hand when I thought he was just face-down?”

“Keeler got caught and he didn’t recover.”

“I said to him fter that ‘you came out in the second round and you fought the wrong fight,’ and he agreed with me, he said ‘I was still hurt.’”
