The Portlaoise puncher put his Pan Asian Boxing Association title on the line against former champ Kaenpetch Sithpoopetch and managed a third successful defence of a title once held by Bernard Dunne defeator Poonsawat.
The win further solidifies Doheny’s WBA top 15 super bantamweight world ranking.
Meanwhile Tony Bates delivered on his pre fight KO promises and registered his seventh career knockout on the same card.
