In between a trip to Australia and a homecoming in Ireland, Mick Conlan‘s fourth professional fight will take place in the United States.

The Belfast super bantamweight headlined his first two Top Rank cards in New York and Chicago before featuring prominently on the Manny Pacquiao v Jeff Horn undercard in Brisbane earlier this month. Now it will be another world title undercard for the Los Angeles-based pro at the start of Autumn.

Conlan [3(3)-0] will fight on Friday September 22nd at a to-be-confirmed venue in Tucson, Arizona, on a card topped by a world title double header.

WBO super middleweight champion Gilberto Ramirez [35(24)-0] defends his belt for the second time against Jessie Hart [22(18)-0], while Conlan’s stablemate under Manny Robles at The Rock Gym, Oscar Valdez [22(19)-0], will defend his WBO featherweight title for a third time against a to-be-confirmed foe.

In his post-fight interview following his third round stoppage of Jarrett Owen in Australia, Conlan revealed that September 22nd was his likely return date and it has now been confirmed

An opponent for 25 year old Conlan, who will again box over six rounds, will be announced shortly.
