Cummings gets off to the perfect pro start

Conrad Cummings made a winning start to life as a pro boxer in the famous York Hall on Saturday night.

The Cyclone Promotions middleweight prospect out pointed Latvian Andrejs Loginovs over four rounds on the undercard of Tony Conquest’s Commonwealth title win.

The Shane McGuigan trained former WSB puncher had a point deducted for a southbound blow, but still managed a comfortable 39-36 victory.

The 22-year old will next be out on the Carl Frampton’s Final Eliminator for the WBC World title clash with Hugo Cazares at the Odyssey on April 4 and he says he enjoyed his pro debut.
