Conrad Cummings to face toughest career test on Titanic Showdown
Tyroneâs Middleweight prospect Conrad âDynamiteâ Cummings has been handed his stiffest test to date in his fledgling professional career as he boxes Polandâs Robert Talarek over six-rounds on the undercard of MartĂnez vs Frampton 2, âTITANIC SHOWDOWNâ, on Saturday the 6th of September at the Titanic Belfast.
Undefeated prospect Cummings, 3(2) â 0, will be eager to impress on the huge outdoor show that is headlined by Carl âThe Jackalâ Frampton challenging Kiko MartĂnez for the latterâs IBF World Super Bantamweight title at Belfastâs historic Titanic Quarter. Cummings boxes for the fourth time in seven months and will be looking for another convincing display when faces off against the wily Polish Middleweight Robert Talarek.
Talarek was last seen derailing the career of the previously undefeated London-based German Arthur Hermann in Camden last month. Big-punching Hermann, 11(10) â 1, could not handle the Polish manâs pace and was outworked over the eight round contest. Talarek was also responsible for stopping the rise of Germanyâs Denis Krieger, 10(7) â 1 â 1, in December of last year when the Pole was robbed of victory by some dubious home scoring and had to settle for a draw. Krieger has not boxed since.
Cummings vs Talarek will take place on the undercard of âTITANIC SHOWDOWNâ, headlined by Carl Framptonâs challenge for the IBF Super Bantamweight World title against champion Kiko MartĂnez on Saturday the 6th of September at Titanic Belfast in Belfastâs historic Titanic Quarter. âTITANIC SHOWDOWNâ will be shown in high definition live and exclusively in the UK and Ireland on BoxNation, the Worldâs only dedicated Boxing channel, SKY channel 437/HD 490, Virgin channel 546.
