Citywest ‘Collision Course’ card cancelled

In some unfortunate news, we regret to report that the professional boxing card in Dublin tomorrow night has been cancelled.

The SK Promotions ‘Collision Course’ card was set to run at the Citywest Hotel in the south of the city, but will now no longer take place.

The Boxing Union of Ireland tonight confirmed that the show “has been cancelled by City West management.”

Seven Irish fighters were due to box on the card. Naas lightweight Gary Cully was to headline, with his Taylormade team-mates Luke Keeler and Davey Oliver Joyce also set to feature alongside Liam Gaynor, Shortty Carroll, Sean Creagh, and debutant Eoin McGrath.

Professional boxing in Ireland however will take place tomorrow in Belfast, with MHD Promotions running ‘Assassin’s Creed’ at the Europa Hotel and featuring headliner James Tennyson along with Dan McShane, Stevie Quinn Jr, Karl Kelly, Feargal McCrory, and Ronnie Clark.
