Champions sign ‘Magic Mike’ from FAI Intermediate finalists

Bluebell United have added a little bit of ‘Magic’ to their squad ahead of the new season.

The reigning Leinster Senior League champions have brought in ‘Magic’ Mikey Doyle.

The attacking midfield maestro has been playing and impressing for ‘Bell in pre season and has signed for Andy Noonan’s men a week shy of the new Senior Sunday term.

Doyle comes in from Firhouse Clover were he has been catching the eye with his creative play as well as goal scoring form in recent season.

Having moved to the Tallaght club from Sacred Heart the midfielder was one of a number of standout performers for Clover.

Indeed, Doyle was key for a side that has continually improved and entertained over the last three season and played a pivotal role in Firhouse’s journey to the Aviva and the Intermediate Cup final last season.

Doyle now moves to the reigning champion will be hoping to impress at the Red Cow next season.

Doyle could be deemed a replacement for long serving LSL play maker Tony Griffiths who has gone into management taking over the ‘Bell Saturday side.
