SEAN Turner might just be brought the distance for the first time as a pro when he returns to the ring on November 1.
‘Big Sexy’ who registered a knock out with his first paid punch before stopping Istvan Ruzsinszky in round four of his second clash faces the tough, tricky and experienced Moses Matovu on a card in Downpatrick.
The Belfast based Ugandan usually campaigns at cruiserweight, but is hard to hit and even harder to hurt. He has fought at heavyweight and took Hughie Fury the distance at the top weight.
Matovu has also only been stopped four times in 57 fights and once in his last 25 outings. No doubt Turner punches harder than most of the popular journey man’s other foe’s, but pair share a manager and know each other well and although that generally counts for nothing when the first bell goes subconsciously Turner might not throw with the same venom.
