Bernard Roe wins in Bradford

Bernard Roe continued his unbeaten start to professional career with a third consecutive points victory.

The Dublin light middleweight took on veteran Matt Scriven at the Cedar Court Hotel in Bradford and won every round in a comprehensive 40-36 scorecard victory.

Scriven had Irish previous, having lost to Tommy Tolan, Anto Fitzgerald, Lee Murtagh, and John O’Donell, and it was another defeat for the Nottingham man last night on the Malta Boxing Commission show.

Roe’s record now reads 3(0)-0, while the always-game Scriven falls to 14(3)-90(20)-1.

Roe’s next fight is scheduled for his 25th birthday on April 1st in the exotic locale of Malta.
