Back with a bang – McCullough registers first round stoppage win

Marc McCullough came back with a bang in Edinburgh on Friday night.

The Belfast featherweight suffered a shock first round stoppage defeat when he took on journey man Zoltan Kovacs in Germany in July, but was dishing out rather than receiving punishment on the Cyclone Promotions Scottish bill.

The former Irish champion emulated fellow Belfast man James Fryers performance against Sergejs Logins stopping the 9-7-1 Latvian within a round.

Next up for the John Breen trained fighter is an all or nothing clash with John Slowey on the November 20 β€˜All on the Line’ fight card in Belfast.
