Celtic super featherweight champion Anto Cacace [13(6)-0] has inked a deal with veteran promoter Pat Magee.

The undefeated Apache joins West Belfast mate Tommy McCarthy and Dublin banger Phil Sutcliffe in Magee’s stable

The deal is, initially, for three fights, the first of which will be in mid September.

Cacace will also link up with former Pat Magee fighter Brian Magee (no relation), who will coach the mercurial talent going forward along with McCarthy.

Formerly of Emerald Promotions, GreenBlood Promotions, and Cyclone Promotions, the talented 27 year old will look to kick on towards the British title, for which he is due to face George Jupp in a final eliminator by the end of November.

The Belfast man last fought in October 2015, winning the Celtic title with a final round stoppage of Ronnie Clark.

Cacace said that “I’m delighted to announce that I’ve just signed a 3 fight deal with Pat Magee.”

“Everything is starting to fall into place.”
