Fitzgerald up against a Wall on Clash of the Clans card

Sam Wall will provide the opposition for Anthony Fitzgerald has he looks to return to winning ways on the Clash of the Clans card.

‘The Pride’ suffered surprise defeat against Adam Jones last time out and will be looking to make amends when he returns to the National Stadium on February 6.

Wall’s record suggest he won’t cause the Dublin fighter too much trouble. The Berksire middleweight has won just two of six fights and has been stopped twice.

The bout will be Fitzgerald’s first fight back under the tutelage of old trainer Phil Sutcliffe and it will be interesting to see the approach he takes in terms of style.
