Bernard Roe latest Irish fighter to secure work on February 6
While a host of Dublin and Irish fight talent go to work in the capitail on February 6, Bernard Roe will be flying the Irish fight flag abroad.
The likes of Jamie Kavanagh, Stephen Ormond, Declan Geraghty and Patrick Hyland will be trading leather live on Boxnation at the National Stadium while Roe fights at the Cedar Court Hotel in Bradford.
It will be the third time Roe, who made his debut last September, will fight as a pro and the third time he fights on the road.
Manning the opposite corner will be the experienced Matt Scriven, whose last outing was a points reverse to Belfast’s Tommy Tolan.
The English fighter has 14 wins to his name, but has lost 89 times and Roe will be confident he can secure a third straight win.
The Dublin is looking to keep busy in 2016 and after Febraury’s clash he is penciled in for a fight in Malta in April.
