POLL: Dean Walsh or Ray Moylette? Who should IABA send to Olympic Qualifier?

Both Dean Walsh and Ray Moylette are training hard in Baku at the moment with the Irish High Performance Unit.

The pair are hoping to impress Zaur Antia who will have the final say, by June 10th, on who will represent Ireland in the light welterweight division at the Worldwide Olympic qualifier in Baku starting on June 14th.

The two had been scheduled to box-off last Monday but the IABA ultimately decided against this in favour of bringing both to the training camp and comparing their performances there.

In the ring, they have met twice, with Walsh emerging victorious on both occasions in razor-tight affairs. Walsh won his first major international medal last August at the European Championships, and was controversially edged out at the European Olympic Qualifier in April by Cuban-Azeri #1 seed Lorenzo Sotomayor.

Moylette, the 2011 European gold medalist, is also eligible for the final WSB/APB qualifier in July in Venezuela should whichever 64kg boxer chosen for Baku fail to claim an Olympic berth.

Which boxer do you feel should represent Ireland in the upcoming qualifier?
