WATCH: Mick Conlan showing some fearsome power in training camp

For most amateurs who make the move into the pros, as lot of the early training is all about slowing the pace, setting your feet, and putting more pop into your punches.

Mick Conlan is no different. The Irish amateur legend has turned pro in America and has relocated to ‘The Rock Gym’ in Los Angeles under Manny Robles.

Here, alongside Jason Quigley and world champions Oscar Valdez and Jessie Magdaleno, he is deep in preparations for his professional debut on St Patrick’s Day.

Here he will top the bill at the Theater at Madison Square Garden against Tim Ibarra and, judging by the below video, the Colorado super bantamweight is going to feel the power.
