This could be the last time Matthew Macklin takes to the scales as a pro boxer.

The former Irish, British and European champion has admitted he will retire if he loses to Brian Rose in London tomorrow.

‘Mack The Knife’ tipped the scales at 11 st 5lbs 7oz ahead of his do or die IBF Inter continental middleweight title fight with ‘The Lion’.

A very professional and courtesy head to head followed the weight checks.
