Two new fight dates confirmed for Ray Moylette

‘Sugar’ Ray Moylette [5(2)-0] has had two back-to-back fight dates confirmed for the new season of boxing.

The Mayo lightweight raced to five wins after debuting at the start of March before taking a short Summer break in anticipation of the second stage of his pro career.

This next chapter will begin on Friday September 15th in Connecticut and, all going well here, he will be back out two weeks later on Saturday September 30th in Boston on a Murphys Boxing card.

Opponents for these two upcoming dates will be confirmed shortly.

Moylette’s manager Kaz Evans of Assassin Boxing explained that “The plan was always to get him to ten wins within year one. He is an established amateur, he can be fast tracked.”

The Celtic Warriors fighter is happy with his progression and noted that “the support I got out in Boston was incredible. It is a great opportunity for me to go back out there in September, and to go to Connecticut too is really exciting.”

In his most recent fight, at the end of last month, Moylette stepped up to six rounds and made a jump up in quality to outpoint tough Nigerian Innocent Anyanwu on what was his Irish pro debut.
