The open workouts took place for the HBO Pay-Per-View undercard to the upcoming rematch showdown between Saul ‘Canelo’ Alvarez and WBC and WBA middleweight world champion Gennady “GGG” Golovkin in Las Vegas yesterday.

Cork’s Gary ‘Spike’ O’Sullivan, who trades leather with the former IBF world champion David Lemieux on the card this Saturday, looked in good shape and good form.

The Mahon man continues to carry a confident air and even took time during the pad session to mock his opponents wild miss against Billy Joe Saunders emulating the pairs mutual foe’s  look to the crowd move from their September fight.
