Eric Donovan to flex his muscles in Brussels – Lilywhite Lightning confirms new fight date
Eric Donovan [12(7)-1(1)] will flex his muscles in Brussels next month.
The European title hopeful will look to return to winning ways on the Continent as early as December 5.
‘Lilywhite Lightning’ fights for the first time since his first career defeat, suffered at the gloves Zelfa Barrett live on Sky Sports, in Belgium.
Donovan will compete against a yet to be confirmed opponent over six rounds on a 12 Rounds Promotion card.
The Irish featherweight champion confirmed the news via his social media today: “I am buzzing… on the 5th of December I will have my 14th professional fight in Brussels, Belgium. Thanks to my sponsors, my manager and team, yiz are the best! It’s time for more Lightning.”

The 35-year-old southpaw could have returned on a much bigger stage last week, but flu prevented him from accepting a fight offered by Eddie Hearn and Matchroom on the Conor Benn undercard.
It’s understood a second chance to impress on Sky Sports and DAZN will present itself next year.
The December fight will also be the first fight for the European bronze medalist under the stewardship of Pascal Collins.
