Seventh Irish fighter announced for Burnett-Zhakiyanov undercard

The Ryan Burnett v Zhanat Zhakiyanov undercard continues to fill up.

Yesterday an ninth Irish fighter was confirmed for the Saturday October 21st bill at the SSE Odyssey Arena in Belfast.

It has been announced that Belfast lightweight Joe Fitzpatrick [7(4)-0] will feature on the card.

The Divis lightweight joins his MHD stablemates Paul Hyland Jr and James Tennyson on the card.

‘The Dragon’ has not fought since his six-round points win over Gyula Tallosi back in February of this year.

Commonwealth Games silver medalist Fitzpatrick joins a packed bill which also includes Paul Hyland v Stephen Ormond, Tyrone McKenna v Tommy Coyle, James Tennyson v Darren Traynor, Feargal McCrory, Tommy McCarthy, Jay Byrne, and Josh Kelly, with more still to be announced.
