Coyle marches on

Geesala boxer Henry Coyle has advanced his record to 8-1 (8KO) with an impressive first-round victory over Alan Moore in Indiana on August 2.

Moore of Indianapolis tried to rush the Irishman from the first bell and landed with some power punches. Coyle was forced to cover up to weather the storm but the 22-year-old quickly turned his opponent onto the ropes before unleashing a number of solid body shots.

Under the onslaught, Moore dropped his left hand in order to protect his body, but this allowed Coyle to connect with a crushing right hand to the head. This sent Moore to the canvas, where he was counted out after 1 minute 50 seconds of the opening stanza.
