Another new fight date for Stephen Ormond

Steve Ormond [22(12)-3(1)] will make it three fights in nine weeks next month as he continues his surge in activity levels following his move to MGM.

Hot on the heels of his comeback win over Daniel Bazo in Belfast on Saturday, the Dubliner has been announced to be fighting on the MGM Scotland show at the Lagoon Leisure Centre in Paisley on December 3rd.

Clondalkin’s Ormond, who is gradually moving back down to lightweight, hopes to face Zoltan Szabo in a rematch following the Hungarian’s shock knockout win over the 33 year old last month. This fight may be tough to make however, due to Szabo being scheduled to face German James Chereji next weekend for the WBC Youth Silver title.

The Boxnation-aired card will also feature Jack Catterrall, Paul Butler, Tommy Philbin, Ross Murray, Paul Kean, Ahmed Ibrahim, Thomas Dickson, and Iain Butcher.
