Another fighter announced for Ireland’s Last Man Standing
The Ireland’s Last Man Standing card continues to expand with the announcement of another undercard fighter.
The March 3rd show at the National Stadium features an eight-man Prizefighter-style middleweight tournament with a €59,000 prize pool and an Irish light middleweight title fight between Jay Byrne and Craig O’Brien.
This will all be televised live on TG4, however there is also an off-TV undercard which has been bolstered by the addition of Dublin bantamweight Dylan McDonagh [2(1)-0].
After seeing his initial debut date fall through last year, the Jobstown fighter scored two wins on Celtic Clash cards – the second of which being a one-round blowout of Robert Kanalas.
Promoters Red Corner and Assassin are keen to build up the undercard, and have called for interested fighters to get in contact if they want to feature.
Alongside McDonagh, the undercard currently includes Cillian Reardon, Victor Rabei, Vladimir Belujsky, and Dylan Moran.
Currently there are six fighters confirmed for the Last Man Standing tournament – Chris Blaney, Roy Sheahan, Alfredo Meli, Bernard Roe, Sean McGlinchey, and Ger Healy – with two more to be announced soon.
