The Irish boxing boom of 2017 continues with a second new show announced this week, the sixteenth of the year in total.

This afternoon it was the turn of newcomer Ginley Promotions to announce their second show, following on from Red Corner’s announcement yesterday.

Boxing will return to The Devenish Complex in West Belfast on Saturday September 16th for some more small-hall madness.

Ginley Promotions, ran by recent pro Mark Ginley, put on their first show, ‘Dust Up at The Devenish,’ at the same venue back on March 3rd.

That Friday night saw home wins for Ciaran McVarnock, Anto Upton, Alfredo Meli, Stephen Ormond, and Tyrone McCullagh.

No fighters are confirmed as of yet for the upcoming bill which looks like it will kick off a busy period in the Titanic City, with Mark Dunlop running a dinner show on September 30th and Kieran Farrell returning on October 6th – with further big events from Matchroom, Queensberry, and Top Rank also mooted.

Ginley Promotions said that “following on from the success of our last event on March 3rd, we look forward to another action-packed evening of boxing in Belfast.”

Ticket details for the card will be confirmed shortly.
