A debut which may have flown under the radar, former star amateur Rohan Daté turned pro during the Summer.

The Waterford light middleweight has relocated to Dubai and punched for pay for the first time in June at the Ahdaaf Sports Club, scoring a third round knockout of Ghanaian Gerald Dah

Daté has now been handed a second fight date, again in the United Arab Emirates, on Friday November 18th.

The 23 year old was a noted puncher in the amateurs, and won the 2012 U23 Irish title and represented Ireland at the European U23s in Russia, as well as being a regular at the Senior Championships
