Fury-Klitschko rematch OFF
Tyson Fury’s rematch with Wladimir Klitschko at the Manchester Arena next month has been postponed due to an ankle injury suffered by the lineal and unified heavyweight king.
The disappointing news was revealed today by the former Irish heavyweight champion on instagram, who explained how he badly sprained his ankle ten days ago while jogging in the Lake District and will be out of action for six or seven weeks.
No refixed date for the bout, which will still take place at the Manchester Arena, has been announced.
Fury however promised that the fight will take place as soon as possible.
The disappointing news echos that of last year when Klitschko was forced to postpone the initial bout in Duesseldorf due to a calf injury.
