DiBella wants Warrington next for Hyland, but suspects Leeds man doesn’t want punishment
EUROPEAN Champion Josh Warrington would be an ideal next foe for Patrick Hyland claims Promoter Lou DiBella.
However, the New York based DiBella Entertainment boss doesn’t think the 24 year old, who holds a win over Martin Lindsay, or his promoter Eddie Hearn are keen on taking the kind of punishment ‘The Punisher’ is capable of ditching out.
Hearn seemed open to a Hyland Warrington clash, when the Jobstown man told the Matchroom boss ‘I am coming for your boy’. However, there has been no mention of the clash, since the November Dublin card.
Hyland has since returned to American and registered a KO win in Madison Square Garden on March 14. The former Irish champ reiterated his desire to fight Warrington, who has a WBC International featherweight title fight line up for April 11 and promoter DiBella took to Twitter to state the same.
Love to match @Pajpunisher vs. @J_Warrington, but dont think he or @EddieHearn want punishment. RT @emcgfurlong: whos next for the punisher?
