Dennis Hogan secures Vegas fight date

Dennis Hogan will fight for the first time since his WBA light middleweight Interim World title defeat on April 16.

The Hurricane lost a points decision to Jack Culchay last December, but is keen to get back in the title mix.

The former Australian champion and Kildare native fights in Vegas on the same night Patrick Hyland challenges Garry Russell Jr for the WBC featherweight title in Foxwoods.

No comeback opponent has been confirmed for the 31 year old Oz based puncher, who has amicably parted company with long time trainer Steve Deller.

The April 16 clash will be Hogan’s fourth Stateside having defeated Kenny Abril, Tyrone Brunson and Jose Miguel Rodriguez Berrio in America.
