Cummings overcomes prospect derailing Talarek
The fighter with a reputation of derailing prospects couldn’t prevent Conrad Cummings from reaching the next stop of a journey that Cyclone Promotions are adamant is mapped for the top.
Talarek was last seen derailing the career of the previously undefeated London-based German Arthur Hermann and was also responsible for stopping the rise of Germany’s Denis Krieger, 10(7) – 1 – 1, in December of last year.
However he couldn’t prevent Cummings from going 4-0 as the Tyrone puncher registered a shut out points win.
Cummings look destined for a stoppage win after the first two rounds. He looked strong, was certainly fan pleasingly aggressive and landed a variety of power punches.
However Talarek began to show some of the qualities that make him avoidable for a lot of burgeoning talents . He began to fire out the jab in the third and landed a nice upper cut in the fourth.
The visiting fighter was asking questions, but for the most part middleweight Cummings had the answers. He remained in control and impressively registered a 60-54 shut out win over a dangerous opponent in just his fourth pro fight
