‘Cinderella Man’ continues winning streak with Villa Park win
PETER McDonagh extended his unbeaten run to two years and seven fights with victory at the Holte Suite in Villa Park on Saturday night.
Two weight Irish champ, McDonagh, who got twitter jibes for his attire as a Boxnation pundit on Friday night, buckled the not so prestigious International Masters Bronze title around his waist after eight rounds with Adam Grabiec.
The Connemara Kid, who has European title aspirations, beat Grabiec 79-73 to push his record 24-28-1.
