Carroll eyeing up Matchroom debut date

PRIZEFIGHTER winner Jono ‘King Kong’ Carroll could make his Matchroom debut on the March 28 ‘Unbreakable’ fight card.

The 2014 BUI Irish Prospect of the Year award has signed a five fight a year three year deal and looks set to take step one in what promises to be an exciting adventure on the undercard of Kell Brooks first world title defence.

If Matchroom boss, Eddie Hearn, who has labeled the super featherweight ‘a little gem’, can’t find room for ‘King Kong’ on that Sky broadcast show, Carroll will definitely trade leather on the This is Leeds card in April.
