Birthday Boy Sonny to appear on undercard of brother’s title shot

Light middleweight Sonny Upton turns 27 today, however the middle of the three boxing brothers won’t be tucking into any birthday cake.

Upton, who is due to face Ben Hall for the vacant English title in September, will keep busy on his younger brother Anto’s own English title shot next month.

Light welterweight Anto faces Luke Paddock for the English title at the Chase Leisure Centre near Wallsall on July 24th in his second attempt to win the belt.

The addition of Sonny to the card makes it an even bigger night for the Belfast-raised Hatton-trained brothers, and the vociferous Upton Clan support will be out in force.
