Paddy Barnes [1(0)-0] makes a step up on Friday night when he takes on Adrian Garzon, and the Belfast flyweight goes into the bout following some top class preparations.
The Cliftonville small man spent some time in Los Angeles last month at ‘The Rock Gym,’ where he enjoyed some sparring with Mexican Olympian Joselito Velázquez.
The Cancun fighter was eliminated in the second round in Rio, being defeated by Uzbek eventual gold medalist Hassanboy Dusmatov. He has since turned pro, with his record currently standing at 1(1)-0.
