WATCH LIVE: Mayweather v McGregor first press conference

Conor McGregor will come face-to-face with Floyd Mayweather for the first time shortly in Los Angeles.

The Dublin light middleweight makes his professional debut against the five-weight boxing champ on August 26th in a money-spinning mega-fight at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.

Following protracted negotiations, the fight was agreed last month and tonight the two will embark on a four date media tour.

The first press event, which many say will be perhaps more entertaining and even than the fight itself, takes place at The Staples Center in LA at 10:00pm Irish time – although one or both of the fighters may be late to the party.

The tour ends this Friday (July 14th) in London.
