WATCH: Andy Lee on the pads ahead of fight on GGG-Jacobs undercard

Saturday night sees the long-awaited return to the ring of Andy Lee [34(24)-3(2)-1].

The Limerick middleweight has not fought since losing his WBO title to Billy Joe Saunders in December 2015, and finally makes his return on Saturday night in New York.

The Madison Square Garden Arena will play host to the Castleconnell southpaw’s comeback bout where he will face Golovkin sparring partner KeAndrae Leatherwood [19(12)-3(2)-1].

The eight-round bout features on the non-PPV portion of the Gennady Golovkin v Daniel Jacobs WBC/WBA/IBF middleweight title bout.

Ahead of the clash, Lee has been ticking over with old Kronk coach Sugar Hill, and took part in a media workout yesterday at the Mendez.
