Tolan in against Billy Joe Saunders Tonight
Belfast’s Tommy Tolan steps in to face British prospect Billy Joe Suanders in the York Hall tonight.
The 38 year old middleweight becomes the latest fighter to try and stop the rise of the talented former Olympian.
Tolan, who provided stiff tests for the Rocky Fielding, Michael Sweeney and Eamon O’Kane of late and shared the ring with another 2008 Olympian Tony Jefferies, took the fight at late notice and will be hoping to put in an impressive display live on Box Nation.
Irish super middleweight champion Anthony Fitzgerald will be an interested spectator as he was offered the chance to fight the touted English fighter.
