Moore v Moore a goer?

Frank Maloney has said that he is open to the idea of Jamie Moore defending his European light-middleweight title against James Moore.

Salford southpaw Moore claimed the strap with a hugely impressive third-round stoppage of Michele Piccirillo in Wigan on Friday night and is now eyeing a long overdue step up to world level.

However, Maloney admitted that a bout with New York-based Irishman Moore is a possibility.

Im aware of James Moore and that would be an exciting fight, he is quoted as saying by The Sun.

But if the wants a shot he will have to build up his ratings in Europe. Its as simple as that really.
