Moffett beaten by Napa

06 May 2008 – by Cormac Campbell

It always looked to be a tall order and so it proved as Belfasts Colin Moffett went down fighting against Ian Dapper Napa in their British bantamweight title fight on Saturday.

33-year-old Irish Champion Moffett was a clear loser on the cards (119-109, 117-111, 119-108) but earned tremendous credit with his fighting spirit.

In the top of the bill Bernard Dunnes European super-bantamweight rival Rendall Munroe stopped Frenchman Salem Bouaita in seven rounds.
