Dennis Hogan picked up his sixth career title in Australia on Saturday morning.
‘The Hurricane’ blew back into OZ and out pointed Cameroon-born Australia-based contender Samuel Colomban [24(11)-8(1)] in his first fight in Australia for two years.
The Kildare 31 year old claimed an unanimous points victory to claim the WBO Oriental light middleweight title.
The victory not only see’s Hogan add the Oriental strap to the two New South Wales, Australian, Oceanic and NABA American titles he already won but secures him a WBO light middleweight World ranking.
The victory pushes Hogan’s record 25-1-1 and he will now look toward progress toward a WBO tilt.
