Coyle strolls into Commonwealth last 16

CONNOR Coyle strolled into the last 16 of the Commonwealth Games with a routine win over , Lungile Dyamdeki of Lesotho at the Sports and Exhibition Centre, Glasgow this afternoon.

The Derry middleweight maintained Team Northern Ireland’s 100 percent record in this years Games taking all three rounds with relative ease.

Dyamdeki was awkward, cagey and more eager to retreat that attack. Coyle showed patience, showed more of a desire to attack and showed by far the better work.

Coyle will meet the winner of Dennis Thomas (Guyana) and Jonathon Keama of Papua New Guinea in the last 16.
