Another Upton title fight announced

If all goes to plan, all three of the Upton Clan will hold belts soon.

Eldest brother Pauly [12(2)-0] won the Irish light middleweight title in April with a sixth round stoppage of Terry Maughan.

Last night, youngest brother Anto [12(4)-1(0)] announced that he would be challenging for the English light welterweight belt for a second time, this time against Lee Paddock on July 24th in Wallsall.

And now, after both parties have agreed terms, middle brother Sonny [11(5)-2(1)] will face Ben ‘The Sensation’ Hall for the English light middleweight title in September.

Essex boxer Hall [8(1)-0-1], who has appeared on Matchroom shows in the past, is the current BBBoC Southern Area champ and is trained by Peter Sims.

September’s bout will take place in London at a to be confirmed venue and will be promoted by Frank Warren.
