Alfredo Meli secures title shot on Feile Fight night Card

ALFREDO Meili gets the chance to make a statement and win a title on the eagerly anticipated Feile Fight Night this coming Saturday.

The Belfast middleweight has gone somewhat under the radar in pushing his record to 10-0, finding it difficult to secure a named opponent that could help him grab some attention outside of the core boxing following.

Former Scottish title challenger Rhys Pagan provides the 25 year old with the chance to increase his British ranking and claim an eye catching win on Saturday night.

Pagan comes to the ring with more wins than Meli has bouts having his hand raised 13 times with only two loses on his record, one of which came in a title fight.

The 22 year old Scot is like his Belfast opponent deemed a prospect and victory on Saturday could help the Immaculata graduate kick on his career.
