Lennox Lewis: Tyson Fury moves like Muhammad Ali

Former heavyweight champ Lennox Lewis has compared some aspects of Tyson Fury’s game to that of the legendary Muhammad Ali.

The unorthodox former Irish champion upset long-reigning Ukrainian titlist Wladimir Klitschko last November in Duesseldorf to take the unified and lineal heavyweight championship.

Lewis sees some similarities between the Gypsy King and ‘The Greatest’ and told Alan Brazil on talkSPORT that Fury is “six-foot-nine and quick.”

“He moves like Muhammad Ali.”

Complementing the pure boxing approach of Fury, Lewis commented how “he floats like a butterfly and stings like a bee, that’s what boxing is all about.”

“He is the man who beat the man who beat the man.”

The former Olympic gold medalist and three-time heavyweight champion has long been a fan of Fury, and has previously named him as the number one in the World ahead of Matchroom’s Anthony Joshua.
