Late addition made to Carl Frampton Homecoming Undercard

There has been a late addition to the Carl Frampton homecoming bill in Belfast this weekend.

‘The Jackal’ takes on Andres Gutierrez [35(25)-1(0)-1] in a WBC featherweight title eliminator at the SSE Odyssey Arena on Saturday night (July 29th), live on Channel 5.

At today’s press conference it was revealed that big-punching Libyan light heavyweight Malik Zinad [9(8)-0] will also feature on an undercard that comprises of Conrad Cummings, Paddy Gallagher, Lewis Crocker, Steven Ward, Padraig McCrory, and Chantelle Cameron.

The Malta-based southpaw jumped to Cyclone’s attention on their show in Cardiff back in May when he scored an absolutely stunning first round knockout of home fighter Jermaine Asare.

Prior to this shock, the African had won and defended the lowly-regarded World Boxing Federation International title with fights in Slovenia and Germany respectively.

An opponent for Zinad’s bout this weekend has not yet been announced.
