Galway’s Clancy looking to make it three wins undefeated tomorrow

Gearoid Clancy wants to follow in the footsteps of FBI team mates TJ Doheny and Jake Hanney and move himself into title contention over the coming months. 

The Galway puncher trains alongside PABA champion Doheny and WBA Pan Asian title challenger Hanney and hopes their pairs early career success rubs off on him.

Clancy goes into action along side the duo tomorrow in Fox Studios Australia tomorrow and is confident of pushing his record to 3-0.

“It’s brilliant to see Jake and Tj pushing forward so fast and just makes you realise the same opportunities are there for me if I put the work in and keep the head down. I would like to get another fight in before Christmas, a 6 rounder, and see what happens. The main thing is keep moving forward  and progressing. I am feeling fit and sharp and I am looking forward to Saturday night hopefully we can make three wins from three,” Clancy told Irish-boxing.com 

“Camp is going great it’s unreal to have sparing partners like jake and Tj and tony has took on another Dublin lad called Darragh foley so being sparing him as we’ll people usually have to travel for spars but we have such good quality at the gym we don’t and with spars like that you have to be on top off your game every time you go to gym which is
