Fagan’s cast removed
21 January 2009 – By Cormac Campbell
Oisin Fagan begins the long journey back to fitness this week with the removal of a plaster cast on his broken leg.
The Dubliner faced a long lay off after his fibula broke during the first round of his bout with Amir Khan in December.
In the meantime, though, Fagan kept his weight down with a number of novel exercises, including a specially constructed chair and four mile runs on his crutches.
However, with the cast now off, he is hopeful that his rehab can begin in earnest.
