February 6 is shaping up to a sensational night for Irish boxing.
Dublin plays host to a Boxnation broadcast show, but Belfast and the Europa Hotel can boast a show that could have series ramifications for the fight game in the current capital of Irish boxing.
James Fryers could become mandatory for the British super feather weight title with victory over Maxi Hughes on a mouthwatering dinner show.
Victory on a card, that includes fellow British title hopeful James Tennyson, serial entertainer Paul Hyland Jr, stylish prospect Joe Fitzpatrick, former amateur of note Tyrone McCullagh as well as John Breen’s latest prospect Fergal McCrory, will put Fryers in line for a late Spring early Summer title tilt.
That in turn will highlight MHD Promotions ability to nurture talent through the small hall route and transform them from prospects to challengers, thus giving a further shot in the arm to boxing in the city.
