Dylan Moran adds second fight date to upcoming schedule

Dylan Moran [3(2)-0] will be hoping to get the big Waterford party started early on the weekend after next.

The Deise welcomes its first show since the 1940s as the Ring Kings February 17th card takes centre stage in the city.

The excitement building around the Neil Power-promoted card is building and the hype surrounding the three home fighters – Craig McCarthy, Rohan Date and Barry Barnes – has increased in recent weeks.

However, Moran will represent the county a night before as he trades leather across the water.

The Kilmacthomas southpaw fights on the ‘Little Big Men’ card at the Village Hotel in Bury on Friday February 16th.

The Kieran Farrell fighter is set for a home debut on the March 3rd Ireland’s Last Man Standing card at the National Stadium, but has February fight date to come through first.

The welterweight had an impressive debut year, despite being unlucky enough to see three fight dates in Ireland fall through as he registered three wins in 2017.

The 23-year-old outpointed Chris Jenkinson on his debut and followed it up with stoppage wins over Geiboord Omier and Sylwester Walczak last time out.

Regan Buckley [2(0)-0] provides further Irish interest on the show.

Following a debut win over Gary Reeve, Buckley stepped up in weight to defeat Tallaght’s Carl McDonald, and will now go overseas to face an Area champion on the card.

BBBoC Central Area champion Craig Derbyshire [5(1)-24(3)-3] awaits over six rounds in Bury.
