Duddy in action

The weekend saw big wins for Irish boxing stars John Duddy and Paulie Hyland.

Tallaght super-bantamweight Hyland claimed the EU crown on Friday night, going into the lions den to outpoint Italian David Chianella in Italy.

Duddy for his part marched one step closer to a World Title fight with a typically exciting split points decision over tough Mexican Michael Medina at Cowboy Stadium on Saturday night.
