Connor Coyle claims classy Dublin win

Connor Coyle grabbed win number three this evening in Dublin.

The Derry light middleweight featured on the ‘Unfinished Business’ card ran by Red Corner Promotions at the National Stadium.

Coyle took on late Nicaraguan replacement Miguel Aguilar and scored an impressive four round points win.

The Ulsterman went to the body beautifully throughout the bout against the ultra-durable Central American, and rocked him with straight shots up top. Looking strong, Coyle put on a mature display which oozed class.

A dominant performance, Coyle was awarded the bout on a scoreline of 40:36

The win sees Coyle stretch his perfect professional record to 3(1)-0. Aguilar falls to 11(5)-31(7)-1 following his game display.

Next up is a St Patrick’s Day bout at the A La Carte Pavilion in Tampa, Florida alongside fellow Derry man John Cooley.
